municipal profile
The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia was established in 2024 following the local government reform. This lead to the merge of the former Municipalities of Paralimni and Deryneia, as well as the communities of Frenaros and Acheritou, forming a unified administrative entity with a rich history and cultural heritage. The Municipality covers an area of 152.88 square kilometers, includes 20 kilometers of coastline, and has a population of approximately 42,000 residents.
