The Mayor of Paralimni–Deryneia attended the traditional lighting of the Easter bonfire in Agios Georgios Square in Paralimni on the evening of Holy Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Mr. Nikoletos, together with the Metropolitan of Constantia and Ammochostos, Mr. Vasilios, lit the Easter candle alongside the Deputy Mayor of Paralimni and members of the Municipal Council.

It is noted that the lampshade is organized by the Municipality's working staff and both its placement and lighting are controlled by the Municipality's service.
