The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia has started the installation of wooden signs with the place names of the Municipality. The installation has begun and will continue on the beaches of the Municipality in order to provide better information to local and foreign visitors about the correct name of the areas and beaches where they are located.

At the same time, directional signs will be placed on the main roads to guide visitors to the beaches of the Municipality.

The whole action is done in cooperation with Mrs. Despo Farconi Efthymiou who with her late husband Efthymiou Efthymiou and after thorough research, had written the book "The place names of Paralimni".
