The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia has proven that it is making continuous efforts to upgrade the services provided at the beaches for the better service of visitors.

Recently, the presence of loose stones in the sea at a distance of 5-6 meters from the shore has been observed on a well-known beach and this resulted from the movement of sand due to adverse weather conditions.

The Municipality in consultation with the Prefect of Famagusta proceeded without the use of machinery but with the diligent effort of the Municipality's hardworking staff to collect several loose stones, for the unhindered passage of the public to the sea and with the aim of the safety of bathers.
