Lecture entitled "Tourism in Cyprus: Historical Path, Modern Trends and Prospects for the Future" will take place on Thursday 10 April at 18:30 in the Hall of Events of the Municipal Hall of Paralimni - Dherynia.
The aim of the lecture is to analyse the historical path of Cypriot tourism and its evolution taking into account external and internal economic and social factors. In addition, the lecture aims to draw conclusions in relation to the development of Cyprus as an attractive tourist destination and its potential to be an example of sustainable development in tourism.
The speaker of the lecture will be Dr. Sotiroula Liasidou, Associate Professor at the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT).
Admission to the lecture is free. The lecture will last one hour, with a reception at the end for networking and discussion. All participants will be given a certificate of attendance.
