The Municipality of Paralimni–Deryneia, in collaboration with the Agios Epifanios Cultural Academy, presents the second Traditional Culture Festival “Voices and Memories, ” a unique initiative dedicated to the history, traditions, and customs of Paralimni, featuring various artistic events in March and April.
The festival is a journey through the history and cultural heritage of the Parolimni region, aiming to preserve and highlight local customs and traditions.
Through exhibitions, activities, folklore events, and reenactments of traditional customs, the festival will offer the public the opportunity to learn about and experience firsthand the customs and traditions of Paralimni.
During this year’s festival, we explore the textures of Paralimni, reviving and unfolding aspects of culture, knowledge, and experience in our own time and place.
The festival has already become a staple of Cyprus’s cultural scene, highlighting the region’s rich heritage and strengthening the younger generation’s connection to its roots.
The Festival is held under the auspices of the Deputy Ministry of Culture.
