The traditional concert, held as part of the events organized by the Municipality of Paralimni – Deryneia in collaboration with the Municipality of Famagusta.

The concert featured Michalis Hatzimichael’s band, Andri Karantoni, Dimitris Mesimeris, and Dimitra Hatzimichael. Also participating were the dance workshop of the Frenaros municipal district, as well as folk poets reciting romantic verses and tsia-tsia songs.

Mr. George Nikoletos delivered remarks on behalf of the Municipality of Paralimni–Deryneia, and Mr. Dinos Toumazis, a member of the Famagusta City Council, spoke on behalf of the Mayor of Famagusta.

The events commemorating the Famagusta Flood in Protaras will culminate on Sunday, May 31, 2026, with a major concert featuring Thodoris Ferris at the Fig Tree Bay Event Square in Protaras.

Admission to all events is free.
