A unique experience was given today, Sunday 13 April 2025 at the Xenion amphitheatre in Paralimni by the narrator Marina Katsari and the musician Vangelis Gettos to those who attended the music-narrative performance of medieval tales of Cyprus entitled "Where dragons in Cyprus nothing else" in the framework of the events of the Municipality of Paralimni - Dherynia for the Festival of Traditional Culture "Voices and Memories" that began on April 9 and will end on April 30.
The storyteller Marina Katsari and the musician Vangelis Gettos presented enchanting tales with ghosts, dragons and iron-barred knights of medieval Cyprus and sang their sufferings and exploits.
The legends and fairy tales were rendered in their natural language, the Cypriot dialect, which reached its heyday in the late medieval years through musical choices in the footsteps of the medieval harmonies that creatively infused Cypriot traditional music.
The event was part of the Traditional Culture Festival of the Municipality of Paralimniu - Dherynia "Voices and Memories" (9-30 April 2025). Entrance to all events is free.
