At an event held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the hall of the Municipal Hall of Paralimnios - Dherynia, the Municipality, the State, the Paralimni Youth Union, the Cyprus Football Federation, the veteran and active players of ENP, honoured the legend of Cypriot football, Michalis Konstantinou.

In his address, the Mayor of Paralimni - Derynia Mr. George Nikolettos said that the Municipality, ENP and Paralimni are very excited to honour a great figure of Cypriot - and not only - football, Michalis Konstantinou. He stressed that this initiative honours first and foremost the honoured, but also ENP, which proves in practice that it knows how to recognise and honour its history and the people who have highlighted the country at national and international level.

The Mayor pointed out that Michalis Konstantinou is not just a great footballer, but a living legend, who inspired generations of young people with his playing career and his ethics. He referred with emotion to the deep connection of the honoured with the Paralimni Youth Union, stressing that he is a source of pride for everyone in Paralimni and a living example of the strength that this place hides. On behalf of the Municipality, he congratulated the organizers and thanked Michalis Konstantinou for the unforgettable moments he gave to the fans in the stadiums of Paralimni, Cyprus, Greece, Europe and wearing the jersey of the national team.
