The Municipality of Paralimni - Dherynia in the context of organizing the Christmas Lighting event in the Municipal District of Paralimni which will take place on Sunday 23 November 2025 at St. George Square in Paralimni is requesting proposals / expressions of interest for a known / well-known singer / singers or musical group for the organization of a concert of a total duration of at least one hour and thirty minutes (90 minutes minimum) at St. George Square in Paralimni.

1. The concert/performance will take place in the presence of the public at the Agios Georgios Square in Paralimni of the Municipality of Paralimni - Dherynia on Sunday 23 November 2025 between the hours of 18:00 - 21:30 on a platform which will be indicated by the Municipality of Paralimni - Dherynia.
2. The bidder is requested to enclose with the proposal, a recent signed authorization from the same artist or his/her legal representative (e.g. record company).
3. The expression of interest must indicate the duration of the concert, as well as the persons who will accompany the singer/singer/music group, presenting a dance and, where possible, a musical programme and the duration of each individual's performance. It is understood that the total duration of the singer/singer/musical group's appearance on stage must not be less than one hour and thirty minutes (90 minutes minimum) in a continuous programme.
4. The price must include the singer's fee, board, income tax, transport, tickets, accommodation, artistic supervision of the production, copyright taxes and any fees of collaborators, escorts or any other fees and expenses that may arise, i.e. all requirements without exception that the artist and his/her escorts/collaborators have for the arrival, accommodation, board, transport, presentation of the artistic programme and return. The Municipality of Paralimni - Derynia will not provide any of the above, except for the venue, the sound and lighting coverage, the stage, the dressing rooms, and the security of the singer/singer/music group throughout the concert. It is understood that both the artist and his/her escorts/partners as well as the sound, lighting and stage technicians and those who work for the purpose of the event are obliged to present the artistic programme of the concert in accordance with the requirements of the artist and his/her escorts/partners as well as the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, while they are responsible for the transportation, set-up and storage of their personal belongings and their own equipment.
5. It is understood that the applicant/representative of the artist assumes payment for any enforcement arising for PRS tax or other artists' royalties from respective companies claiming artists' copyrights, related or other rights.
6. It is understood that by "well-known artist" we mean a singer famous in Cyprus and Greece - and preferably abroad - for his/her musical career through significant and well-known hits, a well-known record career and a significant presence in song playback services (Spotify, Apple Music etc.) as well as being popular with the public through the Mass Media and Social Media and having a predominantly Greek music program.
7. Statements of interest must include the full legal details of the interested parties (Full Name of the Company or Natural Person, No. Company No. VAT, country of registration of the company/natural person) where the payment cheque or bank deposit will be issued by the Municipality of Paralimnii - Deryneia.
8. Expressions of interest must include complete and detailed technical requirements for the rider, lighting and/or stage for the artist(s). It is understood that the attachment of all technical requirements is essential and the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia will not accept any changes or amendments after agreement. 
9. Expressions of interest should include in writing any requirements the artist(s)/artistic group has. It is understood that any ex-post requirements or other requirements not requested by the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia in this call will not be accepted.
10. It is understood that other individual offers that the applicant may attach to the final price, such as advertising sponsorships, promotions in the media or social media and/or offers for sound and lighting coverage, will not be accepted in the proposals, nor will they be counted. The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia is solely responsible for the sound and lighting coverage and the promotion of the event.
11. It is understood that the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia has the right to request any individual clarifying documents from the applicant who is obliged to present them at the time requested.
12. The singer/music ensemble that will be proposed is prohibited to participate in any other event - concert in the Larnaca and Famagusta districts at least ten (10) days before and ten (10) days after the scheduled concert.
13. The proposals must be delivered in writing in a closed envelope with the indication "PROPOSAL FOR ART FOR THE LIGHTING EVENT IN PARALIMNI ON 23/11/2025" in the tender box located on the ground floor of the Municipal Hall of Paralimni - Deryneia (Antonis Papadopoulou 6, 5282 Paralimni).
14. The deadline for submission of proposals is Friday 17 October 2025 at 12:00 noon.
15. Each tenderer may submit more than one (1) proposal in a separate envelope. For the submission of each proposal, interested parties are requested to complete and enclose in the proposal envelope the relevant form posted at the bottom of the page entitled "Declaration of Interest for an artist / artistic group for the Lighting Event in Paralimni to be held on Sunday 23 November 2025 in the Municipal District of Paralimni, Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia" and all the required documents listed therein.
16. It should be noted that the successful bidder, if requested, must sign an agreement with the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, prior to the organization of the concert, and upon signing it, must present to the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia a bank cheque of one thousand euros (€1.000), issued from a personal account of a natural person to the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, which will be returned after the end of the concert and/or a Letter of Execution of Bid.
17. The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia is not obliged to accept the lowest or any other declaration of interest.
18. The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia may request clarifications or clarifying details of the proposal from the interested parties.
