The Municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia, as part of its Easter Events program, is seeking proposals/expressions of interest for a traditional music program for a traditional concert lasting at least one hour and thirty minutes (90 minutes) on Easter Sunday (12.04.2026) at 8 p.m. in Agios Georgios Square in Paralimni.

1. The price must include theTOTAL COST OF THE ARTISTIC PROGRAM, meals, income tax, transportation, tickets, accommodation, artistic production supervision, copyright taxes, and any fees for collaborators, escorts, or any other fees and expenses that may arise, i.e. all requirements of the artist and his/her escorts/collaborators for arrival, accommodation, meals, transportation, presentation of the artistic program, and return. The Municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia will not provide any of the above, apart from the concert venue, the stage, and sound and lighting coverage where required. It is understood that both the artist and his/her companions/associates, as well as the sound and lighting technicians lighting and stage technicians, as well as those working for the purpose of the event, are required to present the artistic program of the concert in accordance with the requirements of the artist and his/her companions/collaborators, as well as the Municipality of Paralimni – Deryneia, and are responsible for the transport, set-up, and storage of their items and equipment.
2. Applicants should include in their proposal detailed and complete requirements for sound and lighting coverage that are commensurate with the requirements of the event.
3. Statements of interest should contain the full legal details of the interested parties (Full Name of the Company or Natural Person, No. Company No. VAT, country of registration of the company/natural person) where the payment cheque will be issued by the Municipality of Paralimni.
4. Expressions of interest should include in writing any other requirements the artist(s)/artistic group has. It is understood that any ex post facto requirements will not be accepted.
5. Proposals that include a traditional Cypriot dance program are also welcome, as long as the dance group wears traditional Cypriot costumes. the participation will be a parallel dance program during the performance of the songs by the artistic group and not a separate program, and will consist of persons aged 18 and over with a minimum number of ten (10) persons. The proposal forthe COST OF THE TRADITIONAL DANCE PROGRAM isoptional and must be submitted at a separate cost.
6. Proposals must be sent with the relevant form"Declaration of Interest for Artist / Artistic Group for the Easter 2026 events,"which can be found below, and sent by email to[email protected]or delivered in writing in a sealed envelope marked "PROPOSAL FOR AN ARTISTIC GROUP FOR THE EASTER EVENTS IN PARALIMNI 2026" to the Cultural Service of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia (13 Antonis Papadopoulos Street, 5282 Paralimni, opposite the Municipal Hall).
7. The deadline for submitting proposals is Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 12 noon.
8. Each bidder may submit more than one (1) proposal and for each of the two events, proposals must be submitted separately on separate forms.
9. To submit a proposal, interested parties are requested to complete and send the relevant form found at the link below, entitled "Expression of Interest for Artistic Program for the Easter Events in Paralimni 2026" as well as all the required documents listed therein.
10. It is noted that the interested party that will undertake the artistic event, must (if and when requested), sign an agreement with the Municipality of Paralimni, before the organization of the concert, and in case of request, may present to the Municipality a bank cheque of faithful performance which will be returned after the end of the concert.
11. The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia is not obliged to accept the lowest or any other declaration of interest.
12. The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia may request clarifications or clarifying details of the proposal from the interested parties.
