The Municipalities of Famagusta and Paralimni–Deryneia are jointly organizing the grand celebration of “Flaming Flowers of Famagusta,” which is one of the major cultural institutions that took place in Famagusta prior to 1974 and is inextricably linked to the city’s historical memory and cultural identity.
The Famagusta Flower Festival will take place onSunday, May 10, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. with a parade alongKapparis Avenue, which serves as a natural extension connecting the free province of Famagusta with the currently occupied Kennedy Avenue in Famagusta.
