On 04/03/2025, the works were started by the company N. Gabriel & Sons Ltd, for the construction of a modern and functional Multi-storey Parking Area at Antonis Papadopoulou Street in the Municipal District of Paralimni. The works for the construction of the Multi-Storey Parking Area will have a duration of 18 months according to the contract signed with the company.

The multi-storey parking area that will be built in the centre of Paralimni, next to the Municipal Hall of Paralimni, will include three floors and will have a capacity of 296 parking spaces, among which 17 spaces will be for disabled people and 3 for electric cars.

At the same time there will be a lift for the convenience and service of citizens. The completion of the project is expected to greatly reduce the parking problem in the centre of Paralimni and will help in the recovery of traffic in the commercial centre of the City.

The cost of the project amounts to €6.762.520 and is co-financed by five sixths by the Department of Urban Planning and Zoning, as an Urban Planning Project.

The designers and supervisors of the project are A.F. MODINOS & S.A. VRAHIMIS CHARTERED ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS.
