Mr.Nikolettos also stressed that the Municipal Council remains committed to the goal of continuously improving the living standards of all citizens, through the strengthening of infrastructure, the upgrading of the quality of life and the creation of conditions of prosperity and perspective.
He stressed that the entire Municipal Council operates as a united whole with vision and determination for the progress and development of the Municipality, while he also highlighted the strategy of enhancing the visitor experience through the promotion of the cultural and tourist profile of the area. As he said, among the main axes is the expansion of tourism to the hinterland, with a typical example being the availability of a free tourist guide, highlighting the history, wealth and natural beauty of all the municipal districts.
Finally, he expressed his wish that the Resurrection light will be a beacon of hope and faith for the long-awaited liberation and reunification of the occupied territories of the Municipality and Cyprus.
