A meeting with a delegation of the Police was held on Wednesday 12 March 2025 at the office of the Mayor of Paralimnii - Dherynia Mr. George Nicolettos. During the meeting, issues of policing in the Municipality of Paralimnii - Dyria, the implementation of the Neighbourhood Watch institution and the implementation of the Law on Recreation Centres (Sound Emission Licences) were discussed.

Both Mr. Nikolettos and the Police delegation expressed their will for closer cooperation and the organization of joint actions and campaigns in the direction of prevention and implementation of legislation.

The Municipal Secretary Gabriela Gavriel was also present and on behalf of the Famagusta Police Directorate the meeting was attended by the Head of the Countryside Mr. K. Papamichael, the Head of the Paralimni Station Mr. D. Moustoukki, the Head of Community Policing Sergeant P. Glykanou, the Neighbourhood Police Officer for the Paralimni - Ayia Napa districts: Valentini Tsoukka, the Neighbourhood Police Officer for the Dherynia - Sotiras district: Yiannos Ioannou and the Neighbourhood Police Officer for the Avgoros, Frenarous, Acheritou districts Panagiotis Panagiotis Panagiotis.
