A meeting with a delegation of the Cyprus Amateur Athletics Organization (AOA) was recently held in his office by the Mayor of Paralimniu - Dheryneia Mr. George Nicolettos. The subject of the meeting was the upcoming organization of the 3rd CYPRUS ROAD RACES GRAND PRIX which will be held in Protaras on Sunday 27 April 2025 and will include 10 and 5 km road races as well as a family and children's race of 1 km.
Mr.Nicolettos stressed that among the objectives of the Municipality is the organization of pan-Cypriot and international sports events that will turn the region into a pole of attraction, including for sports tourism.
The meeting was attended by the distinguished athletes of Cypriot athletics, Eleni Artimata and Andri Sialou.
