The memorial service for the victims of the air tragedy "Helios" that occurred on 14 August 2005 in Grammar Attica was held today, Sunday 10 August 2025, in Paralimni.

The memorial service was held at the Metropolitan Church of St. George, presided over by Bishop Christoforos of Karpasia.

The Government was represented by the Deputy Minister of Tourism Mr. Costas Koumi.

A wreath laying ceremony followed at the Paralimni cemetery.
