The first phase of the implementation of the strategic branding plan of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia by the internationally renowned brand strategist Peter Economides has started. At a special event at the Municipal Hall on Monday 17 November 2025, Mr Economides presented the philosophy behind the new image of the Municipality for the next few years to the Mayor, the members of the Board of Directors and the sponsors.
He stressed the importance of branding and the expected result of the cooperation with the Municipality, which started with the active participation of both the members of the Municipal Council and staff and the sponsors themselves through personal interviews.
Addressing the sponsors, the Mayor of Paralimniu - Dherynia George Nikolettos stressed that their positive response is proof of professionalism and will. He noted that their choice to support an ambitious and long-term project, which will reshape the way the Municipality and Protaras are promoted abroad, is an example of strategic insight.
