The Municipality of Famagusta and the Municipality of Paralimni–Deryneia are reviving the Famagusta Flower Festival on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., on Kapparis Avenue.
The grand flower festival will begin with a parade of marching groups and floats decorated with flowers along Kapparis Avenue, symbolically heading toward occupied Famagusta.
Following that, an artistic musical program will take place in the parking lot on Kappari Avenue, featuring the Famagusta Municipal Choir, conducted by Nikos Vichas.
Remarks will be delivered by the Mayor of Paralimni–Deryneia, Mr. George Nikoletos, the Mayor of Famagusta, Mr. Simos Ioannou, and the Deputy Minister to the President, Ms. Irini Piki.
The event will culminate in a major concert featuring Stavros Konstantinou and Andri Karantoni.
The Famagusta Flower Festival is held under the patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides.
The event will be broadcast live on ANT1, which is the media sponsor.
