The Municipality of Paralimnii - Deryneia in the context of organizing a Traditional Concert on the Saturday of the Flood in Protaras that will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Fig Tree Bay event square (parking area) in Protaras in the Municipality of Paralimnii - Deryneia, requests proposals / expressions of interest for a traditional artistic group of a total duration of at least two (2) hours (120 minutes minimum).

1. The concert/performance will take place in the presence of the public at the Fig Tree Bay events square (parking area) in Protaras in the Municipality of Paralimnii - Dherynia on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at a time and platform that will be indicated by the Municipality of Paralimnii - Dherynia.
2. In case the bidder is a person other than the artist, he/she is requested to attach with the proposal, a recent signed authorization from the same artist or from his/her legal representative (e.g. record company).
3. The declaration of interest must indicate the exact duration of the concert. It is understood that the net duration of the concert of the music group for which the application is made on stage must not be less than two (2) hours (120 minutes) minimum. It is also understood that in consultation with the artistic ensemble, the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia may vary the duration of the program by adding an intermission / dance or other program. The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia has the exclusive right to determine the interval or additions to the programme.
4. The price must include the singer's fee, food, income tax, transport, tickets (if any), accommodation, artistic supervision of the production, copyright taxes and any collaborators' fees, accompanists or any other fees and expenses incurred, i.e. all claims without exception that the artist and his/her accompanying persons/associates have for arrival, accommodation, food, travel, presentation of the artistic programme and return. The Municipality of Paralimni - Derynia will not provide any of the above, except for the venue, the sound and lighting coverage, the stage, the dressing rooms, and the security of the singer/singer/music group with staff throughout the concert. It is understood that both the artist and his/her escorts/partners as well as the sound, lighting and stage technicians and those who work for the purpose of the event are obliged to present the artistic programme of the concert in accordance with the requirements of the artist and his/her escorts/partners as well as the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, while they are responsible for the transportation, set-up and storage of their personal belongings and their own equipment.
5. Maximum estimated cost: eight thousand euros (€8.000,00) (estimated cost does not include VAT).
6. Statements of interest must include the full legal details of the interested parties (Full Name of the Company or Natural Person and, if applicable, the company's or natural person's No. Company No. VAT, country of registration of the company/natural person) where the payment cheque or bank deposit will be issued by the Municipality of Paralimnii - Deryneia.
7. Expressions of interest must include complete and detailed technical requirements for the rider, lighting and/or stage for the artistic entity. It is understood that the attachment of all technical requirements is essential and the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia will not accept any changes or amendments after agreement.
8. Expressions of interest should include in writing any requirements that the art form has. It is understood that any ex post facto requirements or other requirements not requested in this call will not be accepted.
9. It is understood that other individual offers that the applicant may attach to the final price, such as advertising sponsorships, promotions in the media or social media and/or offers for sound and lighting coverage, will not be accepted in the proposals, nor will they be counted. The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia is solely responsible for the sound and lighting coverage and the promotion of the event.
10. It is understood that the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia has the right to request any individual clarifying documents from the applicant who is obliged to present them at the time requested.
11. The proposed musical ensemble/s are prohibited to participate in any other event - concert in the Larnaca and Famagusta districts at least five (5) days before and five (5) days after the scheduled concert.
12. Proposals must be delivered in writing in a closed envelope with the inscription (outside the envelope) "PROPOSAL FOR PARADOX ART DESIGN FOR THE SABBATH OF JUNE 7, 2025 IN PROTARAS" in the tender box located on the ground floor of the Municipal Hall of Paralimni - Deryneia (Antonis Papadopoulou 6, 5282 Paralimni).
13. The deadline for submission of proposals is Wednesday 30 April 2025 at 12:00 noon.
14. Each tenderer may submit more than one (1) proposal. For the submission of each proposal, the interested parties are requested to complete and enclose in the proposal envelope the relevant form attached to the attached form entitled "Declaration of Interest for traditional artistic group for the Saturday of the Flood 2025 (7/6/2025) in Protaras in the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia" (located at the end of this posting) and all the required documents listed therein.
15. It should be noted that the successful applicant, must -if and when requested- sign an agreement with the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, prior to the organization of the concert, and upon signing it may be requested to present to the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia a bank cheque of one thousand euros (€1.000), issued from a personal account of a natural person to the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, which will be returned after the end of the concert and/or a Letter of Execution of Bid.
16. The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia is not obliged to accept the lowest or any other declaration of interest.
17. Responsible for the promotional material is the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia. In the event that an applicant proceeds with promotion/advertising with material that has not been approved in writing, the Municipality of Paralimnii - Dherynia is aware that it may cause the cancellation of the competition.
18. The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia may request clarifications or clarifying details of the proposal from the interested parties.
