The Municipality of Paralimni - Dherynia in the context of organizing the Easter Events, requests proposals / expressions of interest for a traditional music program for the organization of a traditional concert lasting at least one hour and thirty minutes (90 minutes) as shown in the following program of events:

1. Thursday 10 April 2025, Mitropoleos Square, Paralimni, 8pm
2. Easter Sunday 20 April 2025, St. George Square, Paralimni, 8pm

1. The price must include the TOTAL COST OF THE ARTISTIC SHAPE, board, income tax, transportation, tickets, accommodation, accommodation, artistic supervision of the production, copyright taxes and any collaborators' fees, accompanying persons or any other fees and expenses incurred, i.e. all requirements without exception that the artist and his/her accompanying persons/associates have for arrival, accommodation, food, travel, presentation of the artistic program and return. The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia will not provide any of the above, apart from the venue and the stage where required. It is understood that both the artist and his/her escorts/associates as well as the sound, lighting and stage technicians and those who work for the purpose of the event are obliged to present the artistic programme of the concert according to the requirements of the artist and his/her escorts/associates as well as the Municipality of Paralimni - Dyria, while they are responsible for the transportation, set-up and storage of their objects and equipment.
2. Applicants should include in their proposal sound and lighting coverage that is appropriate to the requirements of the event. (10.04.2025 concert for 300 people in a small amphitheatre or small square, 20.04.2025 concert for 500 people in a square). It is understood that the company that will take over the sound and lighting coverage must be a legal company registered in the Republic of Cyprus, have a Health and Safety System and issue a certificate from the electromechanical department. The sound and lighting coverage of the artistic programme is necessary. It is understood that the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia will not provide a generator or fuse for the equipment of the company that will take over the sound and lighting coverage, but only electricity during the concert. The financial proposal for COST FOR SOUND AND LIGHTING COVERAGE must be submitted at a separate cost.
3. Statements of interest should contain the full legal details of the interested parties (Full Name of the Company or Natural Person, No. Company No. VAT, country of registration of the company/natural person) where the payment cheque will be issued by the Municipality of Paralimni.
4. Expressions of interest should include in writing any other requirements the artist(s)/artistic group has. It is understood that any ex post facto requirements will not be accepted.
5. Proposals that include a traditional Cypriot dance program are optionally accepted, provided that the dance group will be presented in traditional Cypriot costumes, the participation will be a parallel dance program during the performance of the songs by the artistic group and not a separate program, and will consist of persons aged 18 years and older with a minimum number of ten (10) persons. The proposal for a COST FOR A PARALLEL DANCE PROGRAM is optional and must be submitted at a separate cost.
6. Proposals should be sent with the completed form "Declaration of Interest for Artist / Artistic Scheme for the Easter 2025 events" which can be found below and sent by email to [email protected] or delivered in writing in a closed envelope with the indication "PROPOSAL FOR ARTISTIC SCHEME FOR THE EASTER EVENTS IN PARALIMNI 2025" to the Cultural Service of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia (Antonis Papadopoulou 13, 5282 Paralimni, opposite the Municipal Hall).
7. The deadline for submission of proposals is Thursday 20 March 2025.
8. Each bidder may submit more than one (1) proposal and for each of the two events, proposals must be submitted separately on separate forms.
9. For the submission of each proposal, interested parties are requested to fill in and send together the relevant form that can be found in the following link entitled "Declaration of Interest for Artistic Scheme for the Easter Events in Paralimni 2025" and all the required documents that are listed in it.
10. It is noted that the interested party that will undertake the artistic event, must (if and when requested), sign an agreement with the Municipality of Paralimni, before the organization of the concert, and in case of request, may present to the Municipality a bank cheque of faithful performance which will be returned after the end of the concert.
11. The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia is not obliged to accept the lowest or any other declaration of interest.
12. The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia may request clarifications or clarifying details of the proposal from the interested parties.
